Antioxidant Activity of Dry Birch (Betula pendula) Leaves Extract
Preclinical
Abstract
Betula pendula has been used in traditional medicine since ancient times, and birch leaf extracts exhibit a number of pharmacological activities. This study evaluated the antioxidant activity of a dry birch leaf extract, which demonstrated significant free-radical-scavenging and antioxidant capacity attributable to its phenolic and flavonoid content.
