A note on the numbers. Fresh plant material is roughly 70–90% water, so the dried-weight figure is an estimate based on the plant part you select. When you pick a herb with a sourced standard, the ratio and solvent strength come from a cited pharmacopoeial monograph and carry a method-confidence rating; otherwise the tool uses general defaults (1:5 ratio, 75/25 glycerite, 40% alcohol) that are not herb-specific. Always finish to your own preparation standards.
