Inhibitory potential of some Romanian medicinal plants against enzymes linked to neurodegenerative diseases and their antioxidant activity

Abstract
Among Romanian medicinal plants, the Cnicus benedictus ethanol extract strongly inhibited acetylcholinesterase and tyrosinase and showed high antioxidant scavenging activity, indicating neuroprotective potential of blessed thistle.
