Abstract
Polyphenol-rich extracts of Cnicus benedictus (rich in rutin) showed antioxidant and lipoxygenase/hyaluronidase inhibition and inhibited alpha-amylase and alpha-glucosidase, supporting its use in managing inflammation and diabetes.
