Abstract

This study used HPLC fingerprinting to assess quality of bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) fruits and supplements, quantifying anthocyanins and hydrolysable/condensed tannins and detecting widespread adulteration of dietary supplements, supporting quality control of the anthocyanin-rich fruit.
