Comparisons of Scutellaria baicalensis, Scutellaria lateriflora and Scutellaria racemosa: genome size, antioxidant potential and phytochemistry
Preclinical
Abstract
This comparative study quantified the flavonoids baicalin, baicalein, scutellarin and wogonin and the neurohormones melatonin and serotonin in Scutellaria lateriflora alongside S. baicalensis and S. racemosa, characterising the phytochemistry relevant to its use in neurological disorders.
