Abstract
Lentinan from shiitake (Lentinula edodes) selectively attenuated AIM2 and non-canonical inflammasome activation while inducing pro-inflammatory cytokines through TLR4, characterising a complex immunomodulatory action of the mushroom beta-glucan.
