Abstract
In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, oral chamomile (Matricaria recutita) extract produced a clinically meaningful reduction in anxiety symptoms in patients with mild-to-moderate generalized anxiety disorder, supporting a sedative/anxiolytic effect.
