Chemical Characterization of Marrubium vulgare Volatiles from Serbia
Preclinical
Abstract
A total of 160 compounds were determined in the volatiles of Marrubium vulgare from Serbia over two years. The main components were beta-caryophyllene, germacrene D, alpha-humulene and delta-copaene (sesquiterpene hydrocarbons), and several chemotypes were defined, characterising the volatile constituent chemistry of horehound.
