Sesquiterpenoids from Tussilago farfara Flower Bud Extract for the Eco-Friendly Synthesis of Silver and Gold Nanoparticles Possessing Antibacterial and Anticancer Activities
Preclinical
Abstract
Sesquiterpenoids from Tussilago farfara flower bud extract were used as reducing agents to synthesise silver and gold nanoparticles. The resulting nanoparticles displayed antibacterial and anticancer (cytotoxic) activities, illustrating the bioactivity of coltsfoot constituents.
