Antiobesity effect of Stellaria media against drug induced obesity in Swiss albino mice

Abstract
The whole plant of Stellaria media was tested for antiobesity activity in a progesterone-induced obesity model in female albino mice. Chickweed reduced body-weight gain and adipose accumulation, supporting the traditional use of the plant for weight management.
