Abstract
Stellaria media was evaluated for neuroprotection in a rat model of ischemia-reperfusion injury. The extract reduced lipid peroxidation and protected hippocampal and cortical neurons against oxidative ischemic damage, demonstrating antioxidant and neuroprotective activity.
