Effect of Stellaria media Tea on Lipid Profile in Rats

Abstract
Common chickweed (Stellaria media) has traditionally been used for hypercholesterolemia. In rats, administration of chickweed tea favourably affected the serum lipid profile, providing experimental evidence supporting its folk use for lipid-related conditions.
