Abstract
A solid herbal extract of Primula veris was characterised and tested in a model of experimental chronic heart failure. The extract, rich in flavonoids and phenolic acids, improved cardiac function and reduced oxidative stress, demonstrating cardioprotective and antioxidant effects.
