Abstract

This study examined whether cowslip (Primula veris) is a rich source of bioactive substances obtainable by efficient extraction. Extraction conditions were optimised to recover phenolic compounds with antioxidant potential, identifying Primula veris flowers as a valuable source of bioactive phenolics for food and health applications.
