Solid herbal extract of Primula veris L. improves morphofunctional condition of rats' myocardium in chronic alcohol intoxication
Abstract
A solid herbal extract of Primula veris was investigated in a rat model of chronic alcohol intoxication-induced heart damage. The extract improved the morphofunctional condition of the myocardium and reduced markers of oxidative stress, demonstrating cardioprotective and antioxidant effects of cowslip.
