Treatment of the common cold in children and adults
Traditional / reference
Abstract
A clinical review of treatments for the common cold. For adults, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and some herbal preparations, including Echinacea purpurea, improve symptoms, whereas Echinacea angustifolia preparations are ineffective; the review summarises the evidence and safety of symptomatic cold treatments in children and adults.
