Plant-derived nootropics and human cognition: A systematic review
Abstract
Substances with modulatory capabilities on human cognition have been revered as nootropics, and the plant kingdom provides most of the currently available natural nootropics. This systematic review provides state-of-the-art information on plant-derived nootropics and their effects on human cognition, among them Bacopa monnieri, reviewing the clinical evidence for memory and cognitive enhancement.
