Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea)

Abstract
Woodland Trust species profile for foxglove: leaves are oval and hairy with a toothed margin, and the first-year plant forms a basal rosette. Notes that comfrey can be mistaken for foxglove when not in flower, but comfrey leaves are untoothed (smooth-edged) whereas foxglove leaves are toothed; the plant is poisonous if consumed.
