Abstract

This review summarises experimental and clinical evidence for the renoprotective effects of Ganoderma lucidum (reishi/lingzhi) and its triterpenes and polysaccharides in acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease, via antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions.
