Triterpene antioxidants from Ganoderma lucidum

Abstract
The triterpene fraction of Ganoderma lucidum (reishi/lingzhi), containing ganoderic acids A-D and ganodermanontriol, showed the strongest antioxidative activity against membrane and lipid peroxidation, characterising the antioxidant triterpenes of reishi.
