Trachyspermum ammi (L.) Sprague, superb essential oil and its major components on peptic ulcers: in vivo combined in silico studies
Abstract
Trachyspermum ammi essential oil and its major components (thymol, carvacrol) showed gastric antiulcer activity in vivo, supported by in silico studies, consistent with the traditional use of ajwain for gastrointestinal disorders.
