Dimeric guaianolides from Artemisia absinthium

Abstract
Five new dimeric guaianolides (absinthins A-E) and seven known dimeric guaianolides were isolated and structurally elucidated from Artemisia absinthium, characterising the bitter sesquiterpene-lactone constituents of wormwood.
