Potential anti-inflammatory effect of Lamium album extract through caspase-3 and cyclooxygenase-2 genes expression in a rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion
Preclinical
Abstract
In a rat middle-cerebral-artery-occlusion stroke model, Lamium album extract modulated caspase-3 and cyclooxygenase-2 gene expression, indicating a potential anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic effect of white dead-nettle.
