Abstract
In a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind crossover pilot study of healthy young adults, a hops (Humulus lupulus) dry-extract supplement significantly reduced self-reported depression, anxiety and stress scores, giving clinical support for the herb's calming/sedative use.
