Humulus lupulus (hops) extract and its prenylflavonoid 6-prenylnaringenin induced P450 1A1-catalysed estrogen 2-hydroxylation, a chemoprotective shift in estrogen metabolism relevant to the use of hops for menopausal symptoms.
