Abstract

Methanol extract and fractions of Galium aparine showed broad in-vitro antioxidant and free-radical-scavenging activity (DPPH, ABTS, superoxide, hydroxyl), with the aqueous fraction the most potent and activity correlating with phenolic and flavonoid content.
