Abstract
Methanol extract of Galium aparine was cytotoxic to MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells (G1 arrest, apoptosis/necrosis) without harming normal breast epithelial cells, indicating selective anti-cancer potential of cleavers.
