Bringing back Galium aparine L. from forgotten corners of traditional wound treatment procedures: an antimicrobial, antioxidant, and in-vitro wound healing assay along with HPTLC fingerprinting study

Hydroalcoholic Galium aparine extract showed antioxidant (DPPH), antibacterial (notably against S. aureus) and in-vitro wound-healing (cell migration/scratch closure) activity without cytotoxicity, aligning with the traditional use of cleavers for wound treatment.
