Immuno-Enhancing Effects of Galium aparine L. in Cyclophosphamide-Induced Immunosuppressed Animal Models
Preclinical
Abstract
In cyclophosphamide-immunosuppressed mice, Galium aparine extract dose-dependently restored spleen weight, enhanced splenocyte proliferation and NK-cell activity and raised IL-6, TNF-alpha and IFN-gamma, demonstrating immunomodulatory (immune-enhancing) properties of cleavers.
