Abstract

Ultrasonic-assisted extraction was optimised to maximise phenolic recovery from Crataegus monogyna leaves; 30 phenolic compounds (chlorogenic acid, hyperoside, isoquercetin, proanthocyanidins) were identified, characterising the antioxidant phytochemistry of hawthorn leaves.
