Abstract
This review summarises the topical use of Epilobium angustifolium, whose secondary metabolites — notably the macrocyclic ellagitannin oenothein B — confer antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging and antiproliferative effects relevant to skin care and treatment.
