Abstract
Gentiana lutea extract inhibited adipocyte differentiation in 3T3-L1 cells and prevented high-fat-diet-induced weight gain, fatty hepatocyte deposition and adipocyte enlargement in mice, demonstrating an antiobesity effect of the herb.
