Anticonvulsant Activity of Viola tricolor against Seizures Induced by Pentylenetetrazol and Maximal Electroshock in Mice
Preclinical
Abstract
The hydroalcoholic extract of Viola tricolor and its ethyl acetate and n-butanol fractions showed anticonvulsant effects in mice, prolonging latency to pentylenetetrazol-induced seizures and reducing the incidence of maximal-electroshock-induced hind-limb tonic extension.
