Abstract
This review and case report describes Ruscus aculeatus, an alpha-adrenergic agonist with vasoconstrictive and venotonic properties, as a safe phytotherapeutic option for orthostatic hypotension, reducing venous pooling in the limbs without causing supine hypertension.
