Abstract

In a large-scale screen for GLUT4-translocation activators, lungwort (Pulmonaria officinalis) was among the extracts revealing potential as an antidiabetic nutraceutical with insulin-mimetic, blood-glucose-reducing activity in a modified hen's egg test.
