Abstract

This review summarises the chemical composition, adaptogenic pharmacology (neuroprotective, cardioprotective, anti-fatigue, antidepressive, anxiolytic, nootropic, CNS-stimulating) and clinical efficacy of Rhodiola rosea, with robust evidence in fatigue and emerging evidence for cognition and mood.
