Liquid-liquid chromatography isolation of Petasites hybridus sesquiterpenes and their LC-HR-MS/MS and NMR characterization
Preclinical
Abstract
This study isolated and characterised the major bioactive sesquiterpenes of butterbur (Petasites hybridus) - including petasin and isopetasin - by liquid-liquid chromatography and spectroscopy, providing reference standards for standardisation and pharmacological evaluation.
