Butterbur (Petasites hybridus) Extract Ameliorates Hepatic Damage Induced by Ovalbumin in Mice
Preclinical
Abstract
A PA-free butterbur (Petasites hybridus) extract ameliorated ovalbumin-induced (hypersensitivity) hepatic damage in mice by reducing oxidative stress and inflammation (MDA, TNF-alpha), demonstrating anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects relevant to its anti-allergic use.
