Phytochemical Characterization of Veronica officinalis L., V. teucrium L. and V. orchidea Crantz from Romania and Their Antioxidant and Antimicrobial Properties
Abstract
This study phytochemically characterised Veronica officinalis (common speedwell) and two related Veronica species from Romania, used in traditional medicine, and demonstrated their antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, attributed to their iridoid and phenolic constituents.
