Abstract
An ethanol extract of Verbena officinalis (vervain) alleviated MCAO-induced ischaemic stroke in rats by inhibiting IL-17A-pathway-regulated neuroinflammation, demonstrating an anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective effect of the plant.
