Abstract

Flavonoids (quercetin and kaempferol glycosides) from Tilia inflorescences produced an anxiolytic-like effect in mice (open-field, hole-board, plus-maze, pentobarbital-induced hypnosis), providing genus-level mechanistic support for the traditional calming use of lime flowers.
