In Vitro Antioxidant Activity and Anticonvulsant Properties on Zebrafish PTZ-Induced Seizure Model of a Tilia Aqueous Extract
Abstract
A standardized aqueous extract of Tilia (a genus traditionally used, like T. cordata, for its tranquilizing properties) exhibited antioxidant (free-radical-scavenging) activity and anticonvulsant effects in a zebrafish seizure model, attributed to its polyphenols and flavonoids, supporting the calming use of linden.
