Abstract

This review summarises the potential of rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis, = Salvia rosmarinus) as a therapeutic plant in metabolic syndrome, covering its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, hypoglycaemic and hypolipidemic effects.
