Abstract

This review of sage (Salvia officinalis) summarises its traditional uses and pharmacological activities, including anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive, antioxidant, antimicrobial, antidementia (cognitive), hypoglycaemic and hypolipidemic effects, and the constituents responsible.
