Abstract
Salix alba (white willow) hydroethanolic extract, rich in phenolics and salicin, improved redox homeostasis and attenuated oxidative stress in the heart and kidney of hypercholesterolemic rabbits, indicating an antioxidant effect related to its phenolic content.
