Abstract
This EU-FORA technical report assessed the risk of white willow (Salix alba) bark in food, reviewing its long medicinal use as a fever-reducer and painkiller and its safety, noting possible allergic reactions in salicylate-sensitive people and a need to address heavy-metal content.
