Abstract

Viburnum opulus (guelder rose) juice, rich in citrate and potassium, was evaluated as a natural alternative to lemon juice for raising urinary citrate in hypocitraturic kidney-stone patients, indicating a potential role in urolithiasis prophylaxis.
