The Neuroprotection of Verbascoside in Alzheimer's Disease Mediated through Mitigation of Neuroinflammation via Blocking NF-kappaB-p65 Signaling
Preclinical
Abstract
Verbascoside, a phenylethanoid glycoside characteristic of Verbascum thapsus, exerted neuroprotective effects in an Alzheimer's disease model by mitigating neuroinflammation through blocking NF-kappaB-p65 signalling, illustrating an anti-inflammatory mechanism of a mullein constituent.
