Disruption of the distylous syndrome in Primula veris
Preclinical
Abstract
Distyly is a floral polymorphism with two morphs differing in the reciprocal positioning of anthers and stigmas. This study of Primula veris populations examined the genetic and morphological disruption of the distylous syndrome, contributing to understanding of the reproductive biology and conservation of cowslip.
